Babar has an extended network in the emerging technologies space, something he developed over the years facilitating blockchain solution development and advising pioneers in the space on how to scale their companies. Through this vast exposure, he developed links at governmental, corporate and professional levels, paving the way for Bloktide. Before this he had a stint in EnergiMine, an Artificial Intelligence start-up where he wore many different hats; from marketing and sales to business development, becoming an all-round business guru.
Sohail hails from Big Four advisory. Having trained as a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton, he spent some time with a prominent mid-tier accounting firm: experiences that allowed him to gain a wide variety of commercial skills by working closely with SMEs. He joined Bloktide from KPMG, where he was involved in prominent multinational audits as well as ad-hoc digital transformation and financial consultancy roles that gave him great technological and commercial exposure. He combines this with being a proficient public speaker, an ability he uses to espouse the gospel of transformative tech.
Nick brings over 20 years’ experience of working with start-ups as an entrepreneur, investor and advisor. His focus is problem solving using Artificial Intelligence while also liaising between technologists and businesspeople. In addition to this, Nick loves building innovative tech start-ups, heading a tech accelerator for start-ups with artificial intelligence at their core. Nick has a solid grasp over the technical and strategic concepts, counting the following amongst his expertise; developing ideas, creating algorithms, writing specs, defining UX, advising on valuations, raising capital, recruitment and more.
Loui is a Technical advisor, developer and trainer on blockchain and Emerging Technologies. He is the Founder and CTO of cryptoGEEKS, a blockchain development company specialising in bespoke solutions and consultancy services. Loui is a member of the National Blockchain Strategy Taskforce, acting as a technical blockchain advisor for the Government of Malta, as well as a Governor on the MDIA (Malta Digital Innovation Authority). He is also a university lecturer on Blockchain implementations and smart contracts development
Alexander is a software development specialist with focuses in product vision, sales, operations management, design, and software engineering. He is equally comfortable in leading boots-on-the-ground start-up initiatives as he is working with large industry players, having been involved futuristic projects such as developing the world's first rehabilitation protocol and virtual reality software in preparation of the world's first human head transplant. Work that was published in the U.S. government's number one database for peer-reviewed medical research, PubMed.
